Marketing Director
This role exists to manage the Marketing function; responsible for the Marketing Strategies and workstreams in Social, Creative, PR, Partnerships, Community and Performance Marketing.
To develop, lead, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance Nadine Merabi’s brand image, brand awareness, customer acquisition, loyalty and overall sales.
Working cross functionally to ensure Marketing activities and timelines align to business objectives and our critical path, ensuring brand elevation and meet the future growth targets of the business
Responsible for:
- Strategic Planning:
Work as part of the Director Team to define and develop 3 – 5 year Business Strategy and Objectives.
Develop and implement a world-class, omni channel growth marketing strategy that aligns with the brand’s overall objectives.
Own the Marketing calendar and ensuring collaboration across teams to drive this forward.
- Brand Development:
Working closely with our Creative Director, maintain and develop Nadine Merabi’s brand image, ensuring consistent brand positioning across all touchpoints.
- Community:
Growing the Nadine Merabi community across socials, influencer partnerships, affiliates, and retention activity.
- Creative:
Lead the creative team to develop compelling, world-class content within the creative critical path, ensuring all channels receive best-in-class assets in a timely manner.
- PR:
Lead the PR function in cultivating strategic relationships with key media partners to drive awareness and credibility through effective brand storytelling.
- Budget Management:
Managing the marketing budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and maximum impact.
- Analytics, Reporting:
Provide regular reports to the senior leadership team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvements to drive our marketing strategies.
Analyse market trends to drive growth for the brand.
- Consumer:
Manage customer profiles for the business and make sure we are always talking to the consumer and understanding our audience.
- Communication:
Facilitate open and transparent communication within Team MERABI, ensuing all members are informed, engaged and aligned with Marketing project goals and timelines; fostering a collaborative environment to ensure a cohesive and unified approach from design to execution.
- Performance:
Collaborate with the Ecommerce & Performance Marketing teams to ensure an optimal mix of paid / organic traffic and to provide the website and paid media channels with high-performing creative assets.
Accountable for:- Managing the critical path across all marketing activities.
- Defining and communicating Brand Standards to ensure consistency in all Brand Marketing activity.
- Defining and Delivery of the 3 – 5 year Marketing Strategy.
- Defining and managing the functional budget including travel.
- Managing and Maintaining agency and suppliers’ relationships and costs to budget present and future to deliver to Nadine Merabi standards. Assessing and appraising suppliers at regular intervals.
- Leading and managing the Social, Creative, PR & Partnerships, Community, and Performance marketing teams.
- Executing the vision of the Creative Director.
Essential Skills & Experience- Experienced in leading Marketing functions with a varied channel mix.
- Proven experience within the e-commerce fashion industry.
- Creative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
- Understanding of digital marketing trends and channels.
- Ability to present and collaborate with Senior Leadership teams.
- Critical path knowledge, understand the links to Marketing activity.
- Assertive with strong leadership skills, prepared to challenge the team to think differently. Our culture is important to us.
- Knowledge of women’s wear at the mid to luxury end of the market.
- Commercial awareness combined with a creative mind-set and an eye for detail.
- Experience with external suppliers and agencies and an understanding of where to source new ideas.
- Ability to inspire and motivate the marketing team at all levels.
- Knowledge of the current retail marketplace.
- Ability to work cross functionally with other department heads.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be prepared to take marketing to the next level and an open mind to develop new categories.
- Highly organized and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create belief, lead and deliver the brand strategy and energise the organisation.
- Ability to get shit done - roll sleeves up and operate in a fast pace, agile environment.
